La Sagrada Familia

I love this one!

I love this one too!

The Casa Botín is the world's oldest restaurant, opened in 1725.[1] It is located in Madrid, Spain near the Plaza Mayor.
The restaurant was "founded by Frenchman Jean Botin and his spouse, and was originally called Casa Botín. It was inherited by a nephew of theirs called Candido Remis, thus explaining the change of name to Sobrino de Botín, which survives to this day."[2]
According to an article on Go Madrid, "The restaurant is also mentioned in the book Fortunata y Jacinta by Benito Pérez Galdós (published 1886-1887) and Goya supposedly worked here before becoming a painter. Hemingway was a frequent visitor and pronounced it one of his favourite restaurants."[3]"

The Countdown Begins

So it's 19 days until Emily and I leave for Spain, and it's already really hard to focus at work. Not that it's easy even without a trip coming up, but I gotta say "this one's pretty big, I'm not gonna lie". Were still not sure what problems we'll encounter or for that matter where were going to stay while were there. But that's the fun of it.
